Our Staff

Currently, the following administrative staff resources are associated with the project:

1 Coordinator (Benedita Glória Penicela Nhambiu): She coordinates and supervises all project activities. With a degree in Chemistry she has a twenty years experience in an industrial environment where she headed a technical department. She is starting studies leading to a degree in Water and Environmental Management.

1 Administration and Human resources (Laura Feliza Sansone Vilanculos): Laura is in charge of the administrative area of the project and for the time being gives a hand in accounting as well. She has a degree in Education, and is working towards her MBA working part time with the project.

1 Field officer (Manuel Eden Lallane): Manuel was trained by Lifewater International in well drilling techniques. He his in charge of the field work which includes contacts with the communities and actual drilling/repairing of wells

1 Maintenance officer (António José): He works part time for the project being in charge of the facilities restoration and maintenance. He has technical qualification in electricity.

1 Driver (Leonardo Savanguane): Leonardo is the driver and the person in charge of acquiring the materials and project supplies.

1 Housekeeper (Filipina Jossias): Filipina helps keeping the working environment comfortable and appealing. She doubles as receptionist when needed.

4 Warden/security: since SAV office is in a “remote” location and has already been target of robbers, a crew of four guards (Raul, Bande, Felisberto and Guambe) provides round the clock security.

All personnel is committed to the objective of providing water to remote communities and willing to sacrifice their comfort to achieve positive results.

Besides the permanent personnel listed above, twelve more people are associated with SAV on a temporary basis, incorporating drilling crews as they go to the field.
